Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Sales Representative to join a diverse, highly-skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving foreign weapons systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales for IT services, managed IT and cybersecurity services, and cybersecurity solutions. Candidate will target small to mid-sized firms interested in highly reliable and secure network and information systems for industries ranging from banking and insurance to rural telecommunication firms. The position will be responsible for prospecting for new customers, cross-selling to and renewing existing customers and developing relationships with partners. Candidate will work to ensure that we effectively penetrate the market and grow our business in a coordinated manner. This position will engage directly with channel and technology partners to expand our market reach and create new revenue streams. The position will be responsible for many duties including but not limited to:
Candidate must demonstrate past experience with a track record of strong skills with relationship management and consultative selling. Adaptable, self-starting, and consultative selling style is mandatory. Candidate will be required to attain and maintain manufacturer sales certifications.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years field sales experience including proactive business development activity
Sales experience in commercial IT and/or Cybersecurity fields
Experience calling on commercial and SLED accounts in North Alabama and the Southeastern United States is preferred
Candidates with Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, and/or other relevant manufacturer certifications are preferred
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; SalesForce preferred
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
