Dynetics is seeking qualified candidates to join the Open Systems Architecture Signal Injector (OSI) development team under the Radar Test Contract (RTC) in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville Alabama. This role requires a skilled engineer that understands real time radar HWIL architectures and components, real time programming with GPUs, operating systems, and kernel development. Knowledge of MDA cyber and Software Assurance (SwA) requirements are also desirable. The OSI system will support MDA in performing Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and its intended uses, to include concept evaluation, developmental engineering, testing and verification, assessment, training, and operational support. The HWIL integration engineer will support modification, enhancement, development, and sustainment of OSI architecture as well as maintain and evolve the OSI architecture and external interfaces.
The candidate will be working in an agile development environment and will be responsible for supporting elements of testing software design/sustainment/development efforts. The candidate should be a well-rounded engineer with broad experiences but with a focused interest and demonstrable skills in HWIL design and architecture. -Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 3+ years of professional experience.
-Candidates should have a solid understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS).
-Experience with Linux/Unix commands and environment.
-Experience with Redhat (RHEL) operating system and kernel design.
-Experience with system integration, real time processing, HWIL architectures, servers, and GPU programming.
-Works well in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.
-Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
-Working on-site at customer facilities on a multi-contractor team and interacting regularly with industry partners and the government customer, the candidate will be expected to represent Dynetics technically, professionally and ethically.
-System Integration skills; including HWIL, OS, and SW troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
-Experience with MDA cyber and SwA requirements.
-Experience with Agile Process Tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
-Experience with test automation and requirements verification.
-Experience developing and testing software in an Agile environment desired.
-Certification: Network+, Security+
-Scaled Agile Framework experience; working as a part of a SCRUM Team
