Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Human Resource Technical Recruiter to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

Individual will be expected to Partner with hiring managers to address hiring needs, both immediate fill requests and candidate pool needs for all functional area Develop and execute robust recruiting plans in a dynamic work environment Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

  • Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews. Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, and source new candidate leads.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Perform other special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; with 3+ years’ progressively responsible experience in  recruiting, sourcing of qualified candidates. Experience with technical recruiting is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment is required.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Must be able to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
