Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Radar Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Engineer or Analyst in this role will support Radar Technology programs including modeling, simulation, and analysis; hardware and software prototyping; and development, integration and testing of surveillance and fire control radars, RF seekers, and RF datalinks.
-Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited university with a minimum of three (3) years of Radar Technology experience. -Radar Technology experience must include one or more of the following areas: modeling, radar/weapons systems analysis, algorithm development, RF hardware, HWIL support, and/or field testing support.
-Modeling experience includes modeling of radar functions, threats, timeline, weapon system, clutter, EA/EP, etc.
-Radar/weapons systems analysis experience includes probability of detection, waveform analysis, probability of intercept, defended area, etc.
-Algorithm development experience includes detection processes, waveform selection, signal processing, clutter and EA mitigation, adaptive beamforming, target identification, etc.
-RF hardware experience includes transmitters, exciters, antennas, multi-channel receivers, high-bandwidth receivers, SOTA processors, and RF lab equipment development and integration, and software development and test.
-Field test support includes travel, radar equipment setup and teardown, and light lifting (up to 30 or 40 lbs.).
Candidate must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate into the Huntsville, Alabama area.
Experience in multiple areas is preferred. Experience in supporting the US Army AvMC is a plus. Experience with MATLAB is also a plus. Candidate must have good people skills and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers and scientists.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
