Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Operations Material Support Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Operations Material Support Analyst will track and move electronic subassemblies between electronic assembly labs, quality inspection labs, stockrooms, and shipping docks as required to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals. This position will also perform all associated computer transactions necessary to document material movements in our corporate quality and accounting systems. The position will utilize visual management standards for labeling and staging totes of subassemblies, and will ensure that work in process counts are accurate and up to date. The position may also generate serial numbers for subassemblies, organize and verify kits, and prep parts for use as required.

The position will involve independent work as well as significant interaction with company and external personnel.

Basic Qualifications

-Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

-Candidate must have at least (2) two years of applicable experience.

-Candidate must demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

-Candidate must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

-Candidate must have a valid driver's license and sufficient driving record to perform delivery and pickup activities.

-Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.

-Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor's of Science or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.

Preferred candidates will also have experience and/or working knowledge with:

  • ESD procedures
  • Implementation of lot code tracking
  • Deltek Costpoint accounting software
  • Electronic component handling requirements
  • Inventory management or stockroom experience
  • Electronics contract manufacturer kitting requirements
  • Implementation of tracking system for parts that are temporarily located at internal or external assembly locations.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
