Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos,is seeking a talented Contract Administrator to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.


Basic Qualifications

-Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related business discipline and have between 5-8 years' direct experience administering federal contracts or subcontracts for the DoD, prime and commercial contractors in a corporate environment.

-This experience should include the review of solicitations, terms and conditions and special provisions, as well as preparing proposals in response to government/prime/commercial RFP requirements.

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) is required.

-Experience with Deltek CostPoint, and SharePoint is a plus.

-The collaborative nature of the position will require a candidate to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong business acumen and high ethical standards.

-Candidate must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area. 

Other Qualifications


  • Manage variety of DoD prime contracts and subcontracts issued to Pinnacle (T&M, FFP, CPFF, IDIQ and Master Service Agreements)
  • Support submission of offers to customers helping to ensure offers are compliant with company policy and solicitation requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Establish and maintain complete, well-organized contract files
  • Advise Program Manager and others regarding contractual rights and obligations – provide interpretation of contract terms and conditions and applicable regulations
  • Submit CDRLs and contract deliverables
  • Prepare and submit contractual correspondence, notifications and change proposals
  • Support Program Kick-Off and Closeout activities
  • Provide timely responses and balance competing priorities to assess and drive issues to closure
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions; share new information and provide backup and assistance to other teammates when needed
  • Complete data entry into a contract management system for the purposes of project setup and establishment of budgets
  • Exhibit honesty, integrity, responsibility, commitment to excellence, customer-focus and attention to detail

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
