Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented an Electro/Mechanical Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The position will work on a variety of products to include both military and commercial customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, computer skills associated with assembly tasks, including proficiency in using corporate production control processes, creating documents and spreadsheets for manufacturing information such as work instructions, parts lists and inventory reports.
Candidate must has a high school diploma or a GED.
Candidate must have an interest in fabrication of hardware, be mechanically inclined, and have demonstrated a good work ethic and responsibility in previous work experience in any type of job. This position requires good communication skills, working well on a team with diverse skillsets, working in a fast paced environment, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and a willingness to take on a variety of duties to help the team be successful.
Preference will be given to candidates that have experience fabricating hardware, the ability to read schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation, experience with cable fabrication, general assembly experience, and/or designing and building systems of systems for DoD customers.
Other areas of preference are IPC-WHMA-A-620 training or ability to perform cable fabrication and experience with electrical systems and unmanned flight hardware.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
