Position Description

Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a talented Project Manager, Continuous Improvement and MES Integration to work within the Strategic Programs Manufacturing Organization to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, aerospace, cyber, space and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The PM, will lead cross functional matrix teams tasked with leading operations activities associated with Product Line Validation for new products, MES integration and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the manufacturing process for new products. Experience working with Cost Point a must. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with product divisions, departments, and business functions to ensure the manufacturing operation is aligned with the company vision. The successful candidate will ensure processes procedures and training is developed to allow for consistent and sustained growth. This position will balance multiple activities that include but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinating activities among cross-functional teams to include including Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.
• Leading meetings and analysis to institute best practices and process improvements
• Responsible for manufacturing capacity planning including new locations, equipment, staffing, and working with the supply chain group on outsourcing opportunities.
• Fostering an environment of continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Implementing a new MES system in parallel with continued production.
• Leading the development of processes and procedures within the manufacturing organization.

Basic Qualifications

BS in a technical or business discipline with 15+ years-experience in manufacturing management for Defense, Aerospace, or Commercial projects with an understanding of manufacturing quality requirements for such projects.

• Experience across various ERP systems to include MRP, MPS and MES, using Deltek, Cost point, SAP, or similar tool. Cost Point experience preferred.
• Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment
• Must be able to work autonomously and stay focused in a high-stress, fast paced environment to meet customer and management deadlines
• Familiarity with various product life cycles including prototyping, design and development, and full release to production

Other Qualifications

• MBA or advanced technical degree
• Direct experience with implementing Enterprise MES
• Experience with AS9100, IPC, and DCMA standards
• Participated in start-up of manufacturing facility
• Strong background in the Aerospace Industry
• Direct experience with implementing Enterprise MES

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
