The Strategic Programs office of Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a qualified Junior Electrical Engineer for its hypersonics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The successful candidate will serve as a Junior Electrical Engineer that will conduct electrical design and test of both hardware and software aspects Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB). Specific duties may encompass analog/digital circuit design, working with software running on a real-time operating system, supporting design for hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) equipment or supporting design of LabVIEW based test equipment for HGB production. Work will be conducted in an integration/production facility along with a laboratory environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field from an ABET accredited school is required. With a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Candidate should have less than 5 years of relevant experience.
The following skills/abilities are desired:
Circuit design experience – analog, digital, power
Experience with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, Altium, OrCAD, or similar
Software skills – C, MATLAB, Simulink
Real-time Operating System – Speedgoat, VxWorks or similar
Hardware-in-the-Loop
LabVIEW
Organizational skills to document designs, assist with Technical Data Packages (TDP) and support production and test of HGB
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
The ideal candidate would have experience in electronics/avionics/environmental design and testing along with a current DoD Secret clearance.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
