Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Program Management Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for providing contractual and financial analysis support to program and project managers by monitoring and analyzing actuals costs (both labor and non-labor) using Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos, and internal tools and comparing to the program budget; developing and reporting financial metrics, and investigating and analyzing cost and schedule variances. Will also coordinate work with Corporate Contracts, Pricing, and Accounting to ensure projects are setup and managed according to Dynetics’ processes. The candidate will support proposals, project setup, execution, and closing.

The candidate will be expected to resolve issues related to labor reporting, direct and indirect cost accumulation, revenue recognition, invoicing, etc.; support project managers in the use of corporate business systems; and perform resource allocation and project closeout analyses. In addition to programmatic tasks, the candidate will perform administrative duties and coordinate with internal and external organizations. The position will be a key point of contact for technical project leads and personnel managers.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ Years of government contracting experience.

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Experience working with Program Managers
  • Deltek Costpoint experience is required
  • Strong MS Excel skills

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.
