Position Description
Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Test and Integration Lead to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Product Engineering Department is a design-focused group of engineers specializing in advanced hardware-based solutions. The individual selected for this position will be an experienced engineer responsible for leading the development and execution of integration and test programs at the unit, sub-system, and system levels. Experience with test planning and execution at the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA)-level is a plus. The individual must be a self-starter with experience working with inter-disciplinary teams to solve challenging technical problems. The engineer will work closely with electronic assemblies integrated into a diverse range of aerospace and military systems including manned/unmanned ground/air vehicles, missiles, defensive radars, and space systems.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop integrated test strategies for complex electromechanical system development programs
- Generate and maintain detailed test schedules within the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Lead the development of test requirements and detailed integration test plans, test procedures, and test readiness reviews (TRRs)
- Oversee execution of the program test plan including design verification testing (DVT), environmental pre-screening and qualification testing, and acceptance testing
- Guide the collection, interpretation, and analysis of test data using various analytical methods and statistical techniques
- Oversee the generation of test reports and communication of results to other program leads
- Provide regular reports to program management on testing status, including metrics on defects and testing progress
- Brief test strategy, plan, and results to customers and other external stakeholders at formal program reviews
- Lead the development and improvement of organizational testing methodologies, processes, and tools

Basic Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Candidate must have 5+ years experience in electronics/electrical integration and test
- Candidate must have advanced knowledge of test engineering principles, theories, and concepts
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience developing and executing unit, sub-system & system-level tests
- Candidate must have hands-on laboratory experience with with instrumentation and test equipment
- Candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience managing time effectively while supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Candidate must demonstrate excellent technical writing skills with proven experience in writing test plans, test procedures, and test reports
- Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams
- Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
Other Qualifications
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.5 or higher GPA
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university
Preference shown to candidates with 10+ years of experience with integration and test of electronic/electrical or electromechanical systems
Preference shown to candidates with 5+ years of technical leadership experience
Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:
- Test engineering for aerospace or military systems
- Custom electronics development and test from board to system-level
- Automated test frameworks
- Leading technical teams including defining technical direction and estimating cost/schedule
- Systems engineering principles and methodologies
Security Requirements
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
