Dyneticcs, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) System Administrator/DevSecOps Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. The selected candidate will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office supporting the Agile Tools team in expanding and developing DevSecOps practices. This position will be responsible for maintaining existing resources primarily focused on application administration but not limited to system administration for new requirements. This team will work directly with government leadership to understand application security and development to expand existing capabilities and support transition to containerized applications. Candidate should have extensive knowledge of IT operations and system administration roles, expertise in software build and release and automation tools and have the ability to provide advice on security best practices.
Candidate should have the following experience and domain knowledge
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics and a minimum of 5 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above
Candidates with Security+ or CISSP certification are a plus.
Candidate must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
