Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Quality Compliance and Auditing Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Dynetics is seeking an experienced Quality Compliance and Auditing Manager to support commercial, aerospace, and defense development/manufacturing/production programs.

The Quality Compliance and Auditing Manager position is responsible for managing and reporting on corporate quality assurance system compliance in support of promoting customer satisfaction. The position will champion compliance monitoring efforts, continuous improvement efforts and noncompliance reduction initiatives to maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS).

1. Responsible to the Dynetics Quality Organization for verification that programs and operations are observing the company's quality policies, standards, and processes.
2. Must have extremely strong communication skills and will work with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure expectations of quality process requirements are known. Educates and trains employees as to their impact in the quality management system.
3. Monitors the enforcement of quality policies and procedures that meet the requirements of ISO 9001/AS9100/CMMI.
4. Responsible for QMS Document Control and Administration.
5. Establish program to evaluate precision and assurance of Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE). Oversees calibration and M&TE management programs.
6. Responsible for Foreign Object Debris/Damage (FOD) prevention compliance programs.
7. Responsible for Electrostatic Discharge/Damage (ESD) prevention compliance programs.
8. Responsible for the corporate internal audit programs.
9. Plans and participates in internal and external quality audits.
10. Reports to management on QMS compliance issues and trends. Must be able to report compliance findings to all levels of management and communicate problem areas.
11. Collaborates with DCMA and other government and/or customer quality assurance organizations as necessary.
12. Manages successful performance of root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
13. Initiates and implements quality improvement activities as appropriate (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma) to raise the performance of the company’s product lines.
14. Manages quality assurance and compliance personnel on a day-to-day basis.
15. All other reasonable duties, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent at minimum.

Must have (8+) years of experience in QA systems implementation, quality engineering, quality auditing, and/or compliance monitoring in a manufacturing and/or product-based environment.

Minimum (5+) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience implementing QMS in a multi-site environment.

Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Degree preferred but not required.

AS9100 Lead Auditor Training preferred.

Knowledge and auditing experience of Government and industry regulations such as FARs, DFARS, MIL-STDs, IPC, SAE, ASTM, and others preferred.

Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint accounting software a plus

Direct experience with Solumina Quality Module or similar a plus

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
