Position Description

The Strategic Programs office of Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a qualified Project Integrator for its Hypersonics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project efforts to include tracking workflow, cost account management on projects, defining and communicating feedback, and working with engineers to resolve issues. As an integral member of the team, the selected candidate will work closely with all levels and types of staff found in a corporate environment. This person will also be comfortable working in a fast paced, creatively diverse group. The Project Integrator will help ensure our Engineering requirements are neatly collected, project status is clearly communicated on a regular basis, and deadlines are met. Therefore, a professional demeanor and good communications skills are required. Ethical behavior and the ability to be trusted with confidential data and other corporate matters is critical.

Key duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute meeting minutes
• Drafting of meeting agendas and PowerPoint presentations
• Cost Account Management
• Deliverables Management
• Ensuring project deadlines are met
• Undertaking project tasks as required
• Developing project strategies
• Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Project

Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related) field is required. Candidate should have at least two (2) plus years of relevant experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, the candidate should have Six (6) plus years of directly applicable experience with either an Associate’s degree or 10+ years with a High School diploma or GED.

The following skills/abilities are desired:

• Experience tracking of actions, budgets, and expenses, supporting the project control staff, entering purchase requests and working with applications such as Costpoint and SharePoint
• Basic skills with PCs and Microsoft Office applications
• Work with a team of engineers and operations personnel in a fast paced, quality critical environment
• Able to multi-task and support various duties as needed and assigned
• Independent thinker and self-starter with proven organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Strong time management, organizational, and oral/written communications
• Administration and Management – Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
• Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify and strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Able to compile data from various sources and tell a story (excel spreadsheets) show gaps, projections, trends, etc.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have working knowledge of business applications including Deltek Time and Expense, Deltek Costpoint and IBM Cognos is a plus and have a current DoD Secret clearance.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
