Position Description

Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a Embedded Systems Reverse Engineer. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Job responsibilities/focus areas include:

1. Disassembly of foreign missile and radar hardware components in order to understand the hardware operation and gain access to the firmware. This work is very hands on and includes circuit tracing, schematic development, analysis, and powered testing of electrical circuits.
2. Characterization and vulnerability analysis of firmware embedded within missile and radar systems. This includes line-by-line analysis and of tracking, guidance, and counter-countermeasures algorithms at the assembly code level.
3. Development of custom circuit boards, embedded software, and test equipment to power, operate, monitor, and characterize the hardware being studied.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or higher Science or Engineering Degree from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.5 or higher GPA.

Candidate must have 0-5 years of experience.

Candidate must demonstrate strong competency using PC or microcontroller based assembly language.

Candidate must demonstrate strong competency designing and analyzing systems using analog and digital hardware.

Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Experience in debugging of complex devices or systems using standard digital and analog test equipment is desired.

Experience working with FPGAs, microprocessors, and digital signal processors in a hands-on environment are desired.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
