Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Radar and Electronic Warfare (EW) Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. This job post is for a test planning and execution position supporting a government office assessment of US Army Air and Missile Defense Systems in contested environments. The candidate in this role will work with government civilians, system operators, and other contractors in developing test requirements and plans, as well as participating in field tests, to demonstrate air and missile defense systems’ capabilities in EW contested environments. The position involves coordinating with system representatives, EW threat providers, spectrum controllers, and range personnel to design and execute tests that capture system capabilities.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics is required. Three years’ work experience in test planning and execution is required. Basic familiarity with radar system concepts is required.
The candidate must be a US Citizen and must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
Candidate should have experience being a team player in a small team environment. The candidate must be self-motivated, willing to work in a group setting, and have solid interpersonal skills to communicate with multiple groups outside of Dynetics.
Occasional travel will be required in support of this positon.
Test experience in support of DoD programs is preferred, especially in Army Air and Missile Defense programs. Knowledge of US Army and other service radar systems, weapon systems, and command and control systems is considered a plus, as is familiarity with RF and/or EA authorization processes. Familiarity with EW threat provider community would also be a plus. Candidate should have excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
