Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, has been selected by NASA to participate in the development and demonstration of a Human Landing System (HLS). Dynetics is seeking a talented Software Assurance Engineer to join a diverse, highly skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems in support of the development of the Dynetics HLS (DHLS) that will carry the first woman and next man to the Moon.
The successful Software Assurance Engineer will support Dynetics in the development of the DHLS and support equipment, primarily responsible for assuring integration and qualification the DHLS software. The candidate will work in a team environment to ensure the safety, reliability, quality, and verification and validation of the DHLS software.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, System Safety or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidate must have at least two (2) years with of direct experience in role as detailed above with an engineering company or system integrator where design, testing, and/or modification of aerospace systems software was involved.
Candidate must have experience in either software system testing (and other verification and validation methods), software reliability, software quality, or software safety.
Candidate must have experience in software development sufficient to assess software requirements, software architecture, software source code, and software tests for completeness and correctness.
Candidate must have experience on safety or mission critical systems in space, civil aviation, aerospace, defense, or similar industry.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision.
