Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Administrative Assistant to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
As an integral member of the team, the candidate will work closely with all levels and types of staff found in a corporate environment - including engineering and technical staff, executives and customers. Therefore, a professional demeanor and good communications skills are required. Responsibilities will include entering and monitoring the status of purchase requests, screening calls, meeting coordination and event hosting, managing calendars and reminders, greeting and escorting visitors, monitoring division timesheet and training completion, travel planning and processing of expense reports, assistance with new-employee set-up, and working with other administrative staff supporting corporate events. Tracking of budgets and expenditures and support to project control staff may also be required.
A bachelor's degree in business administration (or similar field), or three years prior experience as an administrative professional is required.
Candidate must display a willing, can-do attitude with a positive and friendly demeanor.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Working knowledge of business applications including Deltek Costpoint 7 and IBM Cognos is a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
