Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Safety & Mission Assurance Lead to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The S&MA Lead will support the Dynetics Space Systems Division with development of space products and systems with primary responsibility for managing safety and mission assurance resources, products, and processes to develop, manufacture, and operate the system. The position may lead S&MA Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and manage within technical, schedule, and budget constraints. Candidates will work with suppliers to ensure tasks are completed on time and budget and achieve technical objectives. Candidates will serve as the day-to-day technical interface with the customer for the IPT’s area(s) of responsibility. Candidates will report to program leadership and will provide regular informal and formal status on IPT progress. Candidates will monitor and control projects using Earned Value Management (EVM). Candidates will identify and communicate issues and recommend solutions.
The S&MA Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's of Science or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university at least ten (10) years of relevant safety and/or quality assurance experience.
In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate's Degree with a minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant safety and/or quality assurance experience.
Candidate must have at least five (5) years as a team lead.
Candidate must be able to write comprehensive technical reports and present results to multi-disciplinary teams and customer stakeholders.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience supporting, leading, and motivating interdisciplinary teams.
Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience with Earned Value Measurement System (EVMS) and Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) data, including variance analysis and forecasts
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preference will be shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in an Engineering field or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
