Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Program Manager to join a diverse team of scientists, engineers and technicians working to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
As part of the Dynetics Advanced Materials Product Group, the successful candidate will excel at engaging in multidisciplinary problem-solving activities as a part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment working on research, development, technology transition, and low-rate production tasks. Additionally, a successful candidate would be comfortable working with a diverse set of stakeholders to deliver novel technical solutions to our customers.
The responsibilities may include, but are not limited to business development, proposal management, program planning and execution, setting technical direction, coordinating diverse technical tasks, providing technical guidance to junior engineers, interfacing with customers to ensure that their needs are met, and team-building to meet the needs of our work.
Bachelor’s Degree in a science or engineering field is required with 10 years working experience.
Candidate must have demonstrated at least three years of experience in project management or technical team leadership roles.
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines, and the pressure of handling multiple projects and assignments.
Must be willing to take ownership, enjoy taking on new challenges, have the ability to overcome technical barriers, and be highly self-motivated.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates with advanced degrees as well as those who have managed over $1M per year in program value.
Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance, or other-agency equivalent.
