Dynetics, a Leidos company, is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Systems Engineer/Architect to join a diverse and highly skilled team. The candidate will provide IT support for proposing, designing, coordinating, implementing and administering information systems (IS) in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
The candidate must be able to establish, implement, and document technology integration, maturation, and migration strategies. The candidate must be able to install, configure, maintain and evaluate information systems and components (i.e., hardware, software, and firmware) for both classified and unclassified environments including remote offices. The candidate must be able to design and implement information systems that support the enterprise infrastructure and business operations of the organization. The candidate must be able to analyze system requirements and define system and security architectures that meet business needs. The candidate must be able to verify IT project initiatives meet business requirements, security requirements, schedule, cost, and effectively integrate with existing systems. The candidate must be able to maintain and document system plans and approved interconnects, and ensure assigned systems operate in accordance with information security policies and procedures.
The candidate must be able to manage, configure and maintain MS Windows servers and domain infrastructures. The candidates must be capable of following configuration and change management processes as they pertain to system and network administration. The candidate must also be able to provide timely customer service to users of networked resources, business applications and supporting systems, and enable operations across multiple lines of business.
The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, CS, MIS or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience working with the following IT systems: MS Windows Servers, Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Update Services.
Candidate must have a strong technical understanding of information systems and information systems security, as well as experience in implementing and managing Windows-based IT infrastructure solutions in accordance with NIST SP 800-171 security requirements.
Candidate must have demonstrated ability to design, implement, and administer a Windows Domain environment.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and resident of the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidates must be willing to complete professional certifications within information security (e.g., CASP+, CISA, CISSP, GCIH, or GCED) and Windows computing environments to meet training requirements.
A Master's degree in the same or related fields is a plus.
Leadership experience and ability to manage projects and project teams is a major plus.
Candidate should be familiar with and able to implement security technical implementation guidance and benchmark checklists.
Experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud and GCC High services is a plus.
Familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework, FIPS, FISMA, and CMMC is highly desired.
Business continuity and disaster recovery knowledge/experience is a plus.
A customer service mentality and ability to function in a fast-paced, continuously changing, people-oriented environment is highly preferred.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
