Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Systems Administrator to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Candidate will support an Army Project Office providing systems administration support to an Army Test Team operating at White Sands Missile Range, NM (WSMR). Candidate will be performing systems data processing duties with current and future components such as Patriot, Sentinel, LTAMDS, IFPC, and future sensors and launchers into the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) System of Systems construct.
Duties include: Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with the data processing code; Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes; Installing and configuring new hardware and software; Adding, removing, or updating user account information; Security management; Documenting system configuration; Troubleshooting anomalies; Configuring Network infrastructure; Training Personnel using the system; and Supporting Approval to Operate (ATO) requirements.
Candidate must be a US citizen, possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics engineering, or computer engineering, and have 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
The candidate is required to have Security+ CE certification. If the candidate does not have Security + they must obtain it within 90 days of hiring.
Candidate should have a strong background in scanning, patching, and remediating.
Candidate should have the following certifications and experience: Microsoft MCSA, Red Hat, LINUX, Windows, Network +, Cisco CCNA, LINUX with Ansible, latest Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, WSUS, Windows Firewall, HBSS, Nessus, SCAP
Candidate must be a resident of White Sands, New Mexico or be willing to relocate to the White Sands, New Mexico area.
Candidate must be able to work in a high paced environment with flexible work schedule during periods of test execution. Candidate must be self-motivated and possess good communication and team working skills to participate in multiple test support activities with team member Subject Matter Experts. Candidate must be willing to travel between various DoD test ranges to support testing events.
Candidate must have a current Secret security clearance
