Candidate will be supporting an Army Project Office providing system integration to an Army Test Team operating at White Sands Missile Range, NM (WSMR) for current and future Air Defense System of Systems (SoS) testing. Candidate will be required to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office with integration of current and future components such as IBCS, Patriot, Sentinel, LTAMDS, IFPC, and future sensors and launchers into the System of Systems construct, and also integration with a network of test tools that support system testing. Candidate must be able to prioritize competing requirements for time and resources, and be able to adjudicate resource requirements based on understanding of Government customer and mission needs.
The System Integrator will conduct system integration and troubleshooting, provide support with Network Design, plan and coordinate equipment resources, conduct System Administrator (SA) functions, and provide IT, Information Security, and Software Management. Candidate should have the ability to conduct troubleshooting of Test Instrumentation and Simulation (TIS) test tools, to include both asset problems (Microsoft and Linux based tools) and connectivity issues between applications. Candidate with the ability to learn and configure multiple Operating Systems, switches, routers, shared services, and network monitoring and management is desired.
-Candidate must be a US Citizen, and possess a BS in an Engineering or Computer Sciences field or have Military experience with 5+ years of experience in Tactical Systems Test Environments.
-Certification in Security+ CE is required or must be obtained within 90 Days of hire date.
-Experience supporting the IFMC program during systems integration and test activities at DoD Test Ranges and Facilities is highly desired.
-Experience with Army Air Defense Systems such as Patriot, LTAMDS, and IBCS is desired.
-Candidate with a thorough understanding of the IBCS system and the associated test environment is highly desired.
-Candidate must be a resident of the White Sands, New Mexico area or be willing to relocate to the White Sands, New Mexico area.
Candidate must be able to work in a high paced environment with flexible work schedule during periods of test execution. Candidate must be self-motivated and possess good communication and team working skills to participate in multiple test support activities with team member Subject Matter Experts. Candidate must be willing to travel between various DoD test ranges to support test events.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
