Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, tactical logistics, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidate will support an Army Staff office providing financial analysis and expertise by utilizing the Army General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). The primary duties will be to provide government leadership and staff with queries, data drill downs, and analytical assessments necessary to make informed decisions as they apply to Army Air and Missile Defense systems. Candidate should have experience with interpreting GFEBS financial documents and reports against established financial metrics, researching and resolving all GFEBS Intermediate Documents (IDOCs), reconciling Unmatched Transactions (UMTs) and Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), and running and presenting regular reports pulled from the GFEBS system. Candidate should also have expertise knowledge of DoD Army Budget execution, financial management policies and processes as well as analyzing and implementing DoD budgetary regulations and policies.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, flexible and must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to meet suspenses. Candidate must be able to work with minimum guidance in addressing actions, and then use their own knowledge, ingenuity, innovation and experience to complete the product. Excellent written and verbal communication’s skills, people skills and enthusiasm are important, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment.
-A bachelors degree in accounting / business administration / management field is desired.
-Candidates with 3 to 10 years of applicable program analysis experience are desired.
-High understanding of MS Office product line to include familiarity with Microsoft Project.
-Knowledge of US Army acquisition processes, including DAU Level 1 certification in PM, is a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
