The Materiel Fielding Analyst will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO) Logistics Directorate, Materiel Fielding Team to develop materiel fielding support materials and execute equipment hand-off of Army Air and Missile Defense Mission Command (MC) systems.
-Candidate should have a general knowledge of and 1-5 yrs of experience with Army Air and Missile Defense Systems, with focus on command, control, and communication systems.
-Candidate must have general knowledge of Army property accountability, transfer and 1-5 yrs of experience property accountability/responsibility, and inventory procedures.
-Candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work in fast-paced, team-oriented working groups responding to the logistics domains of materiel fielding and policies and procedures in AR 700-142.
-Candidate will coordinate materiel fielding by assisting the Government Lead/coordinator in processing and tracking of materiel to be fielded and associated equipment with Government Bills of Lading (GBL), shipping and inventory documentation of major equipment and small package shipments.
-Candidate will be responsible for developing an equipment picture book for use in assisting equipment handoff and hand receipting. The candidate will assist with major end items & component inventories, hand receipt preparation, and property book transaction in accordance with AR 710-2. The candidate must be able to support travel activities for materiel fielding events, and work in outdoor environments for extended periods.
-Candidate must be willing to work overtime as required with little warning in order to ensure mission success.
-A minimum Associate’s Degree preferred, but not required.
-Must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
