Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a Help Desk Administrator to provide fast and useful technical assistance on customer computer systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics, Inc. provides cost-effective engineering, and responsive scientific IT solutions.
The successful candidate for this role is expected to establish positive working relationships with other team members and system users. The Help Desk Administrator will report to the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at the customer location.
Candidate selected for this position will be responsible for:
Respond to DoD Government, Military, and Contractor customer issues via phone, email, and in-person.
Provide assistance, identify trouble ticket symptoms, provide resolution actions or elevate to the next level for resolution.
Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner and resolve trouble tickets in accordance with contract requirements.
Provide comprehensive documentation for all help desk trouble tickets and resolution actions.
Maintain components of the Microsoft Windows workstations and the associated hardware/software and firmware.
Automated Information System (AIS) policy and procedure compliance.
Install and provide support for components, including; hardware, software, lower-level network devices, and other peripherals of the system.
Possess or working towards an Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related Information Technology degree program.
Direct relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of AS degree.
One to three years of experience working Help Desk on Microsoft Windows systems in a classified environment.
SIPRNet/NIPRNet experience is required.
Experience with cybersecurity principles and DoD/Army requirements with regard to systems operating in a tactical environment.
Candidate will be required to obtain DoD 8570.01-M certification requirements IAT Level II within six months of hire date.
Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment supporting a diverse customer base comprised of engineers, analysts, developers, and specialists.
Candidate must be a US Citizen, and must be a resident of the Colorado Springs, CO area or be willing to relocate to the Colorado Springs, CO area.
Additional qualifications that will be considered are:
Experience with DoD customers and requirements, primarily the US Army.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Windows 10
Computing environment certificate such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, ITIL Foundation, Linux+, CCNA, etc.
U.S. Citizenship and a current Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Must possess active SCI clearance with current investigation (within last 4.5 years) and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
