Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking qualified Mid-Level to Senior Radar Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Analysts to join a diverse, highly-skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Dynetics is seeking talented Radar Analysts to join a multi-contractor team in analyzing radar model and simulation data in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role requires skilled engineers/scientists that understand radars and at least one of the following: real time radar HWIL simulations, signal injection/processing, radar algorithms, and radar performance analysis.

The individual will integrate, execute, and analyze radar HWIL simulation test cases with a high fidelity signal injection system. The individual should also have a good understanding of real time signal and data processing equipment and radar performance characteristics in the context of MDA missions.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience and possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or related STEM Discipline.

Candidates must have experience with:

  • Radar modeling and simulation;
  • Radar algorithms;
  • Radar performance analysis.

Candidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Experience with the following systems and/or technologies is desired:

  • BMDS radar systems such as AN/TPY-2, SBX, and UEWR;
  • Radar signal injection systems;
  • Real-time radar modeling and simulation;
  • Electronic attack and complex radar environments;
  • Software development in a scrum/agile environment;
  • C/C++ object-oriented software development.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
