Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Windows System Developer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position will engage in software integration of developed and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) components. The Developer will be responsible for requesting, tracking, Testing, and integrating multiple software products into a functioning system via the creation of Windows Images using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). The Developer must have hands on experience installing software on Windows based Operating Systems and troubleshooting dependency issues that result with at least 2 years of MDT experience.
The resulting product will be delivered to customers turn-key and ready. The Developer will participate in the testing, bug fixing, and installation scripting of the delivered product and associated engineering releases.
Candidate must be motivated and capable of independent work, and take pride in delivering a high-quality product
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Candidate must have intern or work experience with software systems integration, system administration, or software test.
Candidate must demonstrate strong competency in Windows Group Policy and Firewall configuration and addressing issues with software installation and interaction. Candidate must be capable of producing, editing, and troubleshooting PowerShell scripts.
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
Creating custom installers for applications and virtual machine images
Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration
System and network security (Security+ Certification)
Department of Defense work environment
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
