Dynetics, a Leidos wholly-owned subsidiary, is seeking a talented Space Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The engineer in this role will aid in the development and integration of crewed and uncrewed space vehicles under various NASA contracts. Primary responsibilities will include development and evaluation of an MBSE model, system level requirements, documentation of test plans and procedures, safety analysis, interface analysis, and integration activities. Mulitiple positions available across various product teams supporting a multitide of disciplines (crew systems, propulsion, GNC, structures, etc.).
Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years of related experience in systems engineering or systems analysis. Experience (industry or academic) with Model-Based Systems Engineering required. Candidate will work along side senior MBSE engineers, but will also be expected to work with some autonomy supporting their particular product team. Position requires significant team interaction, breifings, status updates, and collaboration across the program.
Preferred candidate will have experience working with NASA, DoD, or commercial space industry in requirements development, test plans and procedures documentation, safety analysis, or test support on satellite systems and payloads. Experience with CAMEO and CAMEO-EA desired.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
