Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Operationg Systems Integration Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position will engage in software integration and software testing of locally developed and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) components into Linux, Windows, and Hypervisor based Operating Systems. The Analyst will be responsible for requesting, tracking, testing, and integrating multiple software products into a functioning system. The Analyst will have hands on experience installing software on Linux and Windows based Operating Systems and troubleshooting dependency issues that result. The Analyst will have an educational understanding or hands on experience with virtualization and hypervisor configuration.
The resulting products will be delivered to customers turn-key and ready. The Analyst will participate in the testing, bug fixing, and installation scripting of the delivered product and associated engineering releases.
Candidate must be motivated and capable of independent work, and take pride in delivering a high-quality product.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent degree from an ABET accredited university and 3 to 10 years of work experience with operating system configuration, system administration, or software integration (or a minimum of eight years of directly applicable experience in lieu of a degree).
Candidate should demonstrate competency in Linux at a command line level. Candidate should demonstrate competency in windows at a system administration level.
Experience with VMWare ESXi is a plus.
Experience developing with Bash or Powershell is a plus.
Computing Environment certifications or a COMPTIA Security+ certifcation is a plus.
Experience with military Unmanned Aircraft Systems is a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
