Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Dynetics Subsidiary Chief Financial Officer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Dynetics Subsidiary CFO is responsible for all aspects of the financial management of this offline entity of Leidos. Supporting the Group CFO and the Dynetics Subsidiary Leadership Team, the DYN Subsidiary CFO reports directly to the Dynetics Group CFO and is responsible for the accounting, internal controls, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of results of 2 Operations within the subsidiary. The DYN Subsidiary CFO must be a collaborative executive with outstanding leadership skills, and an ability to be a persuasive change agent when change is required. The ability to recruit and motivate a high-performing team is also critical.
The DYN Subsidiary CFO will be a trusted business partner with the senior leadership team and frequently be called upon for his/her business judgment and be a “sounding board” for tactical and strategic decision making. She/he will frequently participate in leadership meetings, bid reviews and other meetings. As such, the DYN Subsidiary CFO will be key to driving growth, profitability and cash flow. The DYN Subsidiary CFO will also directly interface with both the Corporate and DYN Subsidiary Controller organizations with regards to accounting, tax and treasury related issues, identifying and resolving complex financial reporting situations, customer payment issues, and domestic and international tax matters. The DYN Subsidiary CFO will also work closely with Corporate Development in the objective evaluation, due diligence, and integration of acquisition targets.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an ABET accredited school with a minimum of 15 years’ progressive responsibility in diverse finance roles, including accounting, treasury, program financial management, and financial planning and analysis.
· Strong knowledge of CAS, FAR, and GAAP.
· Experience in managing large and complex organizations, including teams that are geographically dispersed.
· Exposure to the M&A process, including supporting roles on a transaction team.
· Candidates for consideration must possess an active/in-scope Top Secret clearance and be willing and eligible to obtain SCI or higher level clearance.
10% travel will be required with this position
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance.
