Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos is looking to hire an experienced Integrated Product Team Lead. With offices across the United State engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. The individual selected for this position will lead a mechanical integration team for directed energy.
The successful candidate will provide system, technical, and mechanical engineering expertise to the directed energy programs at Dynetics. The IPT Lead position will be leading a team of engineers and technician and be responsible for on time design, integration, and test of the vehicle portion of the project. The ideal candidate would have vehicle integration experience along with experience in Drawing Release, Configuration Management, meeting System Engineering requirements, and Test and Integration. Part of the responsibilities of this posting will also be ensuring that Earned Value Management milestones are being met and acting as the team Cost Account Manager.
This lead role guides and directs a team of mechanical and electrical engineers in the design, prototyping, and testing of the vehicle portion of the IFPC HEL directed energy program to support the Army’s RCCTO office. The lead will be responsible for successful planning and scheduling of drawing burn downs, assembly, and testing and integration beyond the vehicle level. The lead will participate in design reviews, development of system and test requirements and procedures. The lead will support program management with staffing and technical requirements and ensure adherence to program schedules.
BS degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or related field
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in integration and mechanical design
Experience leading teams.
Must be willing to travel 10%
Experience with Electro-Mechanical Design, Integration, and Testing
Experience with Drawing Release and Configuration Management
Experience with Earned Value Management schedule and tracking
Experience with CREO, Windchill, and Agile is a plus
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
