Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Manufacturing Program Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. This position will perform a key function of providing oversight and program management leadership for the manufacturing of a critical Air and Missile Defense program. This role will provide leadership to ensure planning and organizing of our product realization approach leading to efficient manufacturing and integration activities at all supplier and internal locations, to include high-quality manufacturing of mechanical & electronics components, integration of weapon systems, sensors and other complex electro-mechanical systems. The Manufacturing Program Manager will work closely with Program leadership, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing personnel to plan and formulate manufacturing operations strategies for the Program to meet schedule and quality requirements. Key responsibilities will include the following:
BS in a technical or business discipline with 10+ years- experience in manufacturing management for Defense, Aerospace, or Commercial projects with an understanding of manufacturing quality requirements for such projects.
Ten (10) years of management experience such as project or organizational leadership experience.
Experience leading a cross-functional team with emphasis on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Manufacturing.
Experience planning hardware product realization efforts.
Candidate must be a US citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Strong manufacturing background in Defense, Aerospace or Commercial industry.
Experience with a program start-up, new or greenfield plant, plant optimization and/or plant operations.
Familiarity with AS6500 manufacturing management program.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
