Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, has a career Opportunity within the Dynetics Group located in Kennedy Space Center, Florida for a talented Personal Computer Support Technician-II to join and lead a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. Dynetics includes many delivery programs, production programs, and programs with emerging technologies.

The Personal Computer Support Technician will provide support to distributed PC/networking environment including installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting for stand-alone PCs and Macs, PCs & Macs linked to networks, printers, and other computer peripherals.

Activities include:

  • Hardware & software configuration, installation, testing, and setup at user location

  • Providing technical, operational, and training support to users

  • Troubleshoots computer problems and application problems

  • Performs hardware and software diagnostics, coordinates needed repairs, resolves computer system problems, including coordination between users and components of a local area network, and participates in the evaluation of system configuration and software

  • Supports peripheral equipment operators in mobile & peripheral device configurations and troubleshooting.

Basic Qualifications

High school Diploma with 2+ years experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10

Experience working with PC &/or Mac systems

Candidate must be a resident of the Kennedy Space Center area or willing to relocate to the - Titusville, FL area
