Davis Manufacturing is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking talented Manufacturing Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Davis Manufacturing provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and manufacturing solutions.
Review customer prints, specs and relevant documentation. Develop and provide work instructions to shop floor. Support the manufacturing processes by developing supporting documentation such as SPC charts, detailed work instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret / clarify customer specifications, documents, prints, quality and engineering requirements.
Write and maintain quality control work instructions and procedures to comply with AS9100 policies and customer standards.
Assist in the disposition of nonconforming product and development of rework tickets.
Create / maintain traveler and work instructions to ensure parts can be made correctly the first time.
Coordinate work order release and shop floor schedule to meet customer due date
Track flow of parts through shop and OVP
Maintain shop floor measurements in our new facility that we recently relocated to.
Individual must have BS degree from an accredited institution with 1+ years of applicable experience writing work instructions.
Ability to speak, read, write English
Works hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00 - 5:00 pm
Work location will be Wheat Ridge area.
In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $55K to $80K; however, Dynetics considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills
1-2 years experience creating work instructions within ERP (Oracle/SAP/Deltek) systems preferred.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
