Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Mid-level to Senior-level Hardware Engineer to help create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Dynetics’ Sensor Systems Analysis and Engineering (SSAE) Department is seeking a Hardware Engineer with 5 or more years of experience and requisite skills to provide ASIC design engineering support. The candidate will be a motivated, self-starter who supports the United States Army in a multi-contractor team environment.
Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, or have an equivalent engineering or scientific degree with demonstrated hardware design and ASIC design experience.
Must have 5+ years technical experience.
Must have the ability to review standards and convey design requirements.
Must be able to analyze and assess processes to determine if design requirements have been met.
Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to interface with a broad range of audiences and conduct technical meetings.
Must be able to sit full time at a customer site and operate independently in a multi-contractor environment.
Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate should be highly organized and have prior project management experience.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of ASIC fabrication, packaging, and testing processes.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of FPGA design and have experience implementing FPGA security requirements.
Preference will be shown to qualified candidates who currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
