Position Description

Dynetics Technical Solutions (DTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking a talented Senior RF Systems Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

In support of the division, the individual will perform Systems Engineering functions for the team involved with design and development of advanced technology military missile systems and subsystems. The position will have responsibility for developing and implementing advanced communications architectures for custom communications systems and participate in multidisciplinary teams of engineers and domain specialists developing active and passive sensors. This role will contribute to all phases of a development cycle: planning, design and development, implementation, test and delivery. The program involves diverse technology areas including electronics, guidance, navigation and control, power generation, structures, payload integration, and system integration.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant technical field required
  • 5 years experience in RF Communications, RADAR, or EW systems and principles
  • Laboratory skills and knowledge of RF and digital test equipment
  • Experience with development and implementation of advanced communication systems
  • Past experience contributing to all phases of a development cycle: planning, design and development, implementation, test and delivery.

Other Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience preferred:

  • Digital Signal Processing
  • Proficiency in at least one high level scripting language (Matlab, Python or equivalent)
  • Firmware implementation of signal processing algorithms in FPGAs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams of engineers and domain specialists developing flight vehicles.
  • Experience working at / with National Labs
