Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support software system development projects for our Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The position involves using leading-edge software processes and tools in the development of software suites and simulations for the Global Hawk (GH) Weapon System Trainer (WST) development project. Direct communications with customers, end users, and team members occur on a regular basis.

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. The candidate must have 5 or more years of experience performing software development.
Candidate would be developing solutions primarily in .NET, C# and C++ and must have experience developing and/or integrating distributed system software components with a basic understanding of network protocols, concurrency control, and asynchronous communications.
Must also have experience working on projects with established continuous integration/deployment tools as well as unit and integration test tools.
Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to this region.
Knowledge and experience with the following are a plus:
Examples of programming completed as part of the candidate’s undergraduate or graduate degree program, or as developed and maintained for hobby/recreational purposes, are highly desired for review and evaluation (e.g., links to personal GitHub account are acceptable).
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
