Position Description

Dynetics, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Jr Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team and help create unique solutions for complex problems. Dynetics provides responsive and cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions to defense, space, cyber and commercial customers from offices across the United States.

Dynetics is seeking candidates with the expertise necessary to simulate the function of threat weapons system components within a modeling and simulation environment. Our Charlottesville, VA, office is searching for a wide range of modeling and simulation skillsets.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering with 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Candidate should be skilled in converting engineering principles into C++ and other computer languages.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and already reside in or be willing to relocate to the Charlottesville, VA, area. Relocation assistance is available.

Other Qualifications

In addition to the skills mentioned above, the ideal candidate also has experience with one or more of the following:

• MATLAB/Simulink ability
• Experience with RF propagation theory and signal processing
• Experience modeling ground vehicles
• Experience with control systems

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
