Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer/Computer Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Engineer will testing and development of seekers. This work includes developing software and hardware solutions to integrate weapons into a Hardware-in-the-Loop environment. The objective of this development is to assess RF sensor capabilities for the United States Military.
Tasks will include developing real-time and/or non-real tiem software models to simulate analog and digital missile subsystems, implementing algorithms, and troubleshooting hardware test benches. Candidates will work closely with software and hardware teams to understand missile tracking, guidance, and counter-countermeasure algorithms for creation of accurate models. Following development and integration, performance of custom solutions will be validated in live fire test events. Once complete, efforts will continue toward developing and maturing the system in order to ensure its defeat of threat systems in combat.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.5 or higher GPA. Physics and Electronics courses are also desired.
Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL, area.
