Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join a our Avionics Products Team. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Avionics Department seeks egineerrs with requisite skills and interest to support elctronic data acquisition and telemetry systems. The work includes design, build, operations and maintenance of test sets for Avionics-built hardware. The work includes circuit board design, FPGA firmware development, embedded electronics design, test planning and debug. The position includes working with other engineers to design, build and test Avionics products..

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's (or Master's) Degree from an ABET accredited school in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or an equivalent degree with a GPA greater than or equal to a 3.2.
• Programming skills in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, or LabView
• Candidate will exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

Candidate must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area. This is an in office position

Other Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have the following attributes:

• Requisite skills and interests with design, analysis, and/or modeling and simulation of elctronic data acquisition and telemetry systems.
• Applicable skills and interests in software development
• Experience developing software for Windows and Linux environments
• Relevant undergraduate research projects or internships/coops.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
