Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented UAS Data Center Integration Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This position will engage in development of tactical mobile data center system component configuration (networking equipment, cluster computing, hypervisors, virtual machine), and software integration (both Government off-the Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software), creating automated installers, and testing of developed system components. The Analyst will be responsible for requesting, tracking, testing, and integrating multiple software products into a functioning system. The Analyst will have educational or hands on experience installing software on Linux and Windows based Operating Systems and troubleshooting dependency issues that result.
The resulting product will be delivered to customers turn-key and ready. The Analyst will participate in the testing, bug fixing, and installation scripting of the delivered product and associated engineering releases.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent degree from an accredited university. Candidate must have intern or work experience with software systems integration, system administration, or software test.
Candidate should demonstrate competency in OS configuration and use.
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a DOD 8570 baseline certification requirements for IAT II with a current Security + CE or equivalent. Candidate must be willing to obtain an acceptable computing environment certification within 6 months of hire. (Windows, Linux+, VMWare, Server+, and Storage computing environment certifications are a few acceptable examples.)
Candidate must be willing to work onsite (no remote work option).
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of the Huntsville, Alabama, area or willing to relocate.
Hypervisor, Linux (or other open-source operating systems), and Windows certifications are favorable.
Demonstrated knowledge of data redundancy architectures and virtualization is a plus.
Knowledge of computer science or programming is a plus.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Powershell is a plus.
General Internet technologies (DNS, DHCP, etc.) and network troubleshooting is a plus.
Network and System Administration skills are a plus.
Experience with DevSecOps is a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
