Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Software Developer/Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Candidates in this role will be a part of a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and analysts supporting advanced radar and weapon systems technology research and development in a high-fidelity modeling and simulation environment.
Candidates will be expected to design, develop, optimize, test, deploy, and maintain software as a part of small teams leveraging Agile methods in a DevOps environment.
Areas of support will include radar back-end software development, digital signal processing, distributed micro-service/open architecture development, high-fidelity modeling & simulation, and algorithm prototyping.
Some travel and field test support may be required.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university with 0-5 years of software development experience.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of concepts including object-oriented design, data structures, parallel algorithm development, distributed architecture development, and networking.
Candidates must have good verbal, written, and visual communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
