Position Description

Spire Manufacturing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynetics, is seeking talented Engineering Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Engineering Technician must be capable of reading engineering drawings and following work instructions to produce complex assemblies. The Engineering Technician must also perform other tasks to aid in the increased efficiency of manufacturing. Attention to detail is key to the success of assembling good-quality product. Experience in the manufacturing of large components for aerospace application is a plus. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methods is a plus. The candidate must be adaptive and willing to change tasks based on production needs.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience with (3) years of manufacturing experience
• OR Associate degree with (2) years of manufacturing experience
• OR Bachelor degree with (1) year of manufacturing experience
• Candidate must be able to read and evaluate engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
• Must maintain documentation for operations including checklists, inspection forms, and travelers
• Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Candidate must be able to work 1st 6:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday - Friday
• Candidate must be a resident of CoS, CO area or willing to relocate to CoS, Colorado, CO area.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly range for this role is $20/hr to $35/hr; however, Dynetics considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:

• Solidworks experience
• Manufacturing experience at an AS9100 certified organization
