Position Description

Are you a Radar Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Analysts looking to join a diverse, highly skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems? Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a Mid-Level Real Time Signal Injection Radar Analyst.

We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

You will b a part of a multi-contractor team in analyzing radar model and simulation data in support of the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville Alabama. This role requires skilled engineers/scientists that understand radars and at least one of the following: real time radar HWIL simulations, signal injection/processing, radar algorithms, and radar performance analysis.

S a member of the team you will integrate, execute, and analyze radar HWIL simulation test cases with a high-fidelity signal injection system that exercises the tactical radar hardware and software in a simulated scenario by injecting simulated target data in real time.

This capability plays a critical role in evaluating the performance characteristics of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) and achieving the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) test objectives. Basic Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's (or Master's) Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related STEM Discipline.

Have 3-10 years of experience and be proficient in at least one of the following areas:

  • Real-time radar modeling and simulation, including radar HWIL simulations
  • Radar signal injection/processing
  • Radar algorithms and performance analysis
  • BMDS radar systems such as AN/TPY-2, SBX, and UEWR
  • Electronic attack and complex radar environments
  • Analysis of radar data with Matlab/Python scripts

Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

 

 

 

Other Qualifications

 

Radar and signal injection experience, scrum-agile experience, and C/C++ programming experience are a plus.

Experience in the following areas is also a plus:

  • Performing technical analysis and exercising System Simulations
  • Develop analysis scripts/tools in MATLAB
  • Experience with DOORS, LINUX (Red Hat)

Working on-site at customer facilities on a multi-contractor team and interacting regularly with industry partners and the government customer, the candidates will be expected to represent Dynetics technically, professionally, and ethically.

 

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance. An Interim Secret clearance is required to start in this position.
