Dynetics Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is looking to hire a skilled Radar and Systems Modeling and Simulation Developer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

In this role you, the Engineer or Developer will support programs involving simulation and analysis; system/component performance assessment and verification and validation; basic to complex command and control (C2) and battle management concepts and techniques; and basic to complex radar theory with an emphasis on being able to analyze, assess, and characterize performance of radar data processing components such as signal processors, tracking and discrimination.

In addition, you will develop software models, analysis tools, perform verification and validation of models, and create corresponding documentation. You will apply a combination of effective communication and collaboration skills with strong technical interests/capabilities to work with and provide leadership in a highly technical and dynamic team of engineers and scientists solving challenging technical questions about complex radar and weapon systems.

Basic Qualifications

Do you possess two years’ experience in software development or a related field? APPLY

If you have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, Applied Physics, or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited university with evidence of a strong academic record? APPLY

Do you have excellent software development skills and/or understand electromagnetics, signals and systems, digital signal processing, data analysis techniques, battle management, and track management algorithms? If so, APPLY

If you capable of applying these skills in the following areas.

Radar/C2 Modeling and Analysis

Algorithm and Data Evaluation, and/or Simulation in digital environments.

Other Qualifications

If you have an advanced degree in STEM disciplines and/or direct experience working with MDA radar systems or C2BMC are strongly encouraged to APPLY.

If you have good communication and collaboration skills and the desire to be a part of a highly technical team of engineers and scientists? APPLY

A candidate interest in, and exposure to, complex radar systems (such as the AN/TPY-2, SBX, LRDR, CD, and UEWR BMDS radars). As well as experience in radar analysis and/or modeling & simulation are preferred.

Technical management experience is also a plus.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top-Secret Clearance.
