Position Description

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Modeling & Simulation Engineer or Analyst for the Sensor Systems Analysis and Engineering (SSA&E) Department.

Our team solves important problems that make a difference and support our customers in the current and future defense of our nation, primarily in the areas of data analysis, mesh development, and sensor integration for EO/IR as well as some radar systems. Specific applications of this include:

· UAS trainer data development

· Image processing and statistical analysis

· Target detection, tracking, and discrimination

You’ll work within an established and very skilled team of engineers and scientists, contributing to various projects which often require analyzing, understanding, and modeling complex, real-world phenomena to support design and decision making.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or equivalent).

Must be a US citizen and be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated proficiency in the following:

· Physics Fundamentals

· Data Analysis

This position requires a minimum GPA of 3.50.

Other Qualifications

Experience and demonstrated skill in any of the following is also a plus:

· Programming (Python, MATLAB, C++)

· Mesh Modeling (Solidworks, Rhino, Blender)

Preference may be shown to qualified candidates who currently hold an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
