Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a qualified Engineer (Navigation Guidance and Control) for its Avionics line of business. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Avionics Department is a group of engineers specializing in advanced hardware products. The selected candidate will support test and evaluation of US Department of Defense programs.
The successful candidate will serve as a NG&C engineer that will handle all aspects of autopilot and navigation components for Avionics Dept. products. The candidate will support production and test of flight hardware along with developing the equipment and tools to support the production process. The candidate will support/oversee development of test equipment and test processes as well as review of test results. This includes working with other IPT areas to collect and review data, and assisting with Technical Data Package documentation of flight components. In addition, the candidate will need to support equipment installation and testing during AI&T process, including troubleshooting and potential onsite repairs/rework. Work will be conducted in an integration/production facility along with a laboratory environment.
The individual must be a self-starter with experience working with inter-disciplinary teams to solve challenging technical problems.

Preference shown to candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 or higher GPA
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
