Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills and experience supporting the Aerospace, Defense, and Civil or Weapons, Technology, and Manufacturing Operations. The selected candidate will report to the Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for a diverse portfolio of contracts.
Individual contributor role. Position is based in Huntsville, AL.
Primary Responsibilities: The candidate will provide the oversight and evaluation of major proposals, monitor major contracts, be a critical asset in key negotiations, resolve performance issues, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with policies, exhibit excellent communications across multiple areas within Leidos, and develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision; be a consummate team player, routinely interacting with programs, contracts, finance, project control, and responsive to customer requirements.
Remote performance may be considered. However, the candidate must be willing to travel to Huntsville or other alternate locations on a periodic basis.
-BA degree + 8-12 yrs relevant experience; or Masters degree + 6-10 yrs relevant experience.
-Candidate must have in depth knowledge of all contract types (e.g., T&M, FFP, and Cost Plus).
-Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions;
-Strong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers; proven history of building a team environment, fostering communication, listening to staff concerns, and reconciling internal issues or differences.
-Experience with Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and other legal instruments a must. Additionally, candidate will have a strong background in Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
